THE LIFESPAN OF A FACT

A literary magazine plans to publish a piece written by a well known, talented  author. The task of fact checking the piece before it goes to print falls to  an obsessive "fresh-out-of-Harvard"  intern who avidly scrutinizes every statement. The demanding editor believes this piece will increase readership of  the failing magazine and wants the article ready to go -now. The big questions regarding truth beg the question, "What is truth anyway?"
